Our Process
At Kelly Olson Interiors, we take care to guide you through each step of the design process so it can be as stress-free and creative as possible.
01.
Consultation
Meet with client to identify specific needs, areas of concern, style preference and inspiration. From this, we will determine scope of work for the project and discuss any budget needs.
02.
Agreement
Letter of agreement finalizing budget, timing, services and fees.
03.
Onsite
Investigating and evaluating the project context, site context and existing conditions. Measurements are also taken at this time.
04.
Preliminary Ideas
The design and creative process starts here. Development of solutions to existing design challenges shown through design concepts, vision, overall goal(s), drawings and space planning.
05.
Research
Selection and sourcing of specific materials and finishes for the project. Quotes and bids requested, pricing and lead times are determined.
06.
Final
Design presentation given where bids are discussed, budget and timing proposals reviewed, and communication of design conclusions.
07.
Approval
Sign off on design and selections.
08.
Implementation
Purchase products, oversee custom pieces, track and manage all ordered products and schedule deliveries of goods and services. Design implementation, installation and styling.
